It's Friday! Friday!.....

It’s finally Friday and that means....... The  weekend has started!!!!

I started to think this week will never end.

On Sunday I gave my last Sunday school class. I decided I am too close in age to my class; and therefore they felt they don’t need listen to me. So I told them this is the last lessen I will be giving for a while. Be nice to the next teacher. And they just nodded along.
My used to be Sunday School class

Monday to Friday was filled with tons of school.

Last night I was stuck with school until 9:15 p.m. When I finally finished I decided I was going to take a bath. My head was sore from the super heat we are having here; and over thinking. I knew a bath would make me feel tons better.

Meanwhile my mom and sister had already gone to bed and were fast asleep. I tried my best to be quiet while running a bath and succeeded for about two minutes. Our bathtub’s tap thingy takes forever to fill a bath so we remove the shower head from its holder and run water through that.

Well, after the bathtub was full I turned off the water and tried to hang the shower head again. The next thing I knew the shower head went flying out of its holder, landed on top of the shampoos and bubble bath bottle; therefore knocking it all over the bathroom floor. The noise was devastating. It sounded as though I had a baseball bat and was using it to destroy everything in my way. I wasn't of cause.

“Megan, you alive?” My dad’s voice called from the hallway.
“Yes, it was just a tiny accident. Nothing is broken. I’m OK.”

I cleaned up the mess left by the shower head I inspected the holder thing. Turns out there were a loose screw and that caused the head to slip out of its place. All was well.
My reaction to the shower head

After I, and the bathroom, was cleaned up I started to get my bed ready. This is a whole process because you need to lower the mosquito net or you’ll have insects buzzing in your ear all night. I was almost finished tucking the net in when I somehow tripped and knocked over my guitar. (I did catch it. Thankfully) it made another dreadful clatter.

I got into bed as quickly as I could and slept.

This morning I found out I hadn't disturbed my sleeping family.

Has it ever happened to you; that when you try to be all quiet-like you end up making the most amount of noise humanly possible? And no one noticed it, because you had amplified the small noises in your mind?

But tonight is the First Friday Fellowship (turned Fourth) and that means there will be plenty of food. This is our annual Thanksgiving Meal so there will be delishesness all around.

I also get to watch Dr. Who episodes tonight. Which should make everyone happy.

I wish you all a lovely weekend!

  1. When one wishes to be quiet, things like this always happen. I sneak into my flat at night, trying not to waken the neighbors upstairs and my flatmate, and somehow always manage to slam the door really loud. I never slam the door other times. And I am always careful to pull it closed, then it likes to make enough racket to wake the dead.
So, I understand your quiet struggle.
