Blog story ideas

I know I'm late with this blog post... but you need to be in a mood of sorts to blog and I wasn't in it. (Yes I was lazy)

Hey there internet people!
I trust everyone had a nice holiday. Yes?
My grandparents left us yesterday :( and they arrived safely in South Africa :) We had a very fun time with them. I'm glad we had them over.

My school starts again on Wednesday! I've missed it. (I'm not being sarcastic, its true)
I'll also get to initiate my sister and her friend into high school. Any ideas of what I should do with them? I have a few planned but I can't tell you, its a secret.

Okay, now for the real purpose of this post.

I have an idea for my blog this year...
I want to challenge myself to start a story here. I guess what it comes to is I want to write creatively. (Bear with me, I'll make sense eventually.)

Have you ever played the game where you're in a group of people and someone starts telling a story, stops, and someone else pick up and continues the story, stops, another person continues it? My idea is almost like that.

No I don't want you to continue where I leave off... instead I want you to leave a comment on the post with a suggestion of what should happen next... who the hero should meet next... everything really.
You, the reader of my blog, gets to decide where the story goes; I have to write your ideas into a story.

If you don't understand what I'm saying just leave a comment and I'll reply with a answer that hopefully makes more sense.

I don't know how often the story will be updated, it really just depends on your ideas; but I would like it to be updated once or twice a month.

My first suggestion requests is:
A name for the story- Something exciting
Who the main character should be- Gender, race, age, job, interests...
Who the supporting characters should be- best friend, enemy...
Where should the story be set?

And finally

What should happen in the first chapter?

I don't care how wacky it gets, just keep it appropriate.

You ready?
GO!

I need you to NAME THAT DALEK!

Hi guys!

How's things with you guys?

I'm doing great. My grandparents arrived on Tuesday and we've been having a great time visiting with them so far. The first real summer rain also arrived this week. I'm really glad it came, it was so hot!

A while back I decided I want to make a Dalek I know they're supposed to be all scary but I think they are really cute. My mom taught me to crochet a year ago and I discovered the art of amigaromi (I apologize if I misspelled that). Basically its the art of making tiny crochet creatures (toys).
Anyway... I tried to make it but, it was to hard as first. Then a few days back I decided to try again. It worked!

I know the picture looks creepy. I was playing on my picture editing program.

I really enjoyed making him.

So the real point of this blogpost is to ask you guys to give him a name. I want to make a few adventures, and he needs a nice name to do so.
I made one with my cat, kitty. My mom said I should put it here for you guys to see, so here it is.
I apologize that it was filmed in portrait, I know how much it irritates some people.
Also for all the loudness. :) I need to practice my dalek voice.

Have a great day!

PS: If you want to make your own Dalek check out THIS lady's blog. She's awesome.

Happy Thanksgiving

I'd like to wish you all a happy Thanksgiving!

In South Africa we don't have this holiday, but I've had enough American influence to know what it is about.

I made a list of things I am thankful for:

I'm thankful my grandpa is getting better. His blood sugar was very high (off the scales) but it has been brought down to the safer region.

I'm thankful that my grandpa and grandma are coming to visit us for Christmas.

I'm thankful for my new friend Cliff.

I'm thankful to be in a loving family I can share many fun memories with.

I'm thankful for the upcoming holiday.

I'm thankful for my good test results in school.

I'm thankful for the internet. (What would I do without it?)

What are you thankful for?
