Excitement

Hey there!!

Next week we're going to South Africa!!!!!!!!!

I am SUPER excited. We've been gone for almost 10 months now, so its about time we went back again. We'll be staying there for more than two months. I so happy right now I could burst.

There are so many things I look forward to:

Seeing my friends again...

Seeing my family again...

Visiting our church...

Shopping Malls...

Bacon...

McDonnalds...

 Steers...

Biltong...

Root Beer?... (if I can find some)

I give up; I can't list them all.

(I'm hungry now..... grrrr)

The first week is going to be hectic! But I don't mind it one bit. (not yet anyway)
We also get to spend a week at my Aunt's sheep farm with my grandparents. :D
Then my sister and I'll return to our school books; but it will be a lighter load, so we can't complain.

In September I'll be going to that convention I've previously blogged about. I am cautiously excited about that. I don't know anyone who will be attending, so I'm scared. But I'll probably end up enjoying myself very much.
After the convention I'll post my short story and poem so you guys can see it.

I have to go now, because I'm not on holiday yet...

The World's Most Expensive Hotel 'Room'

I know I said I'm going to write short stories from now on but I haven't had the time to write them yet so bear with me....

One of my high school majors is tourism, and today I was doing some research for a project when I found this place.......

Hotel President Wilson

It is the Hotel President Wilson, and it is home to the world's most expensive hotel suite. (at least that was what I've been told)

Take a guess at how much it costs to spend the night in the Royal Suite.

$5,000?
$10,000?
$20,000?.....

It costs something like $53,000 for one night only!!!(Though I have seen someplace say $65,000. but that seems far too unbelievable)  (mind blown)

But just look at this room, its AMAZING.... (but still, the price is far too reduncules)

The room takes up the entire top floor, has its own private elevator, four bedrooms, six bathrooms, a library ...I can't even remember the rest. It can accommodate up to 40 people, or something like that.

This is what the website says:

Royal penthouse
Known throughout the world as the largest and most luxurious of hotel suites, the Royal Penthouse Suite covers the hotel's highest floor. It is unique in terms of luxury and comfort and guarantees a maximum security level.

Quite a place!
Anyways..... I just thought I'll share that with you. I hope I didn't just bore you to death with my weirdness....

Tell me what you think of it.

Its raining, its pouring; geometry should be snoring.

For the first time since my family and me got home from South Africa (more than four weeks ago) the day is not hot! Isn't that amazing?
I actually feel like I might need a jacket today. (Nah, I’ll just enjoy the coldness; for now)

I declared war on Geometry yesterday; and I was ready to totally shred it to pieces and destroy it when I stopped to think that my dad (who is also my Math teacher) would not approve.
My face looks like this when I think about Math

For now I will continue to despise it.
I used to love Geometry/Math..... until last week; when I had to start writing proofs. I am so tired of proof writing now I get proof writing-related nightmares.

But I’m sure I’ll get over it......... Someday.

Next week My family and I get to go to the lake for three days.

My mom's birthday is on Monday; and to celebrate she decided we should go to the lake. No one disagreed. I can barley contain myself when I think about next week.

Well geometry is calling so I need to go...
